The telephone interface allows making and canceling of schedules. It also has information available, like schedule lists, resource information, and contact numbers for members. For authorized users, it will allow overlays and overrides of existing schedules of other users. However, the phone interface is not really recommended for anything other than basic scheduling of a single resource.
It does not support...
- standby scheduling
- repeat scheduling
- time entry
There are some known bugs. These include...
- The login does not use your web password. Please contact us to set up a pin for the phone system.
- Some users that are not authorized to override a schedule may be offered this option, but selecting it will result in a system error.
- Some users are offered the option to override a pilot status issue by typing in a sysop password. This is not a valid option and will result in a system error.
The phone system is antiquated, does not support the recent enhancements well, and is slated for being retired. However, due to a handful of users who still use it as their primary method of scheduling, we have kept it operational. This system still works fine for basic scheduling. If you have a smart phone and would like more capabilities, I recommend trying our smart phone interface. For more information on this interface, you can check the following article:
