Go to the instruction time entry page. (If you are authorized to enter instruction, you will find this under Billing Admin | Instr Time.) Then select the instructor from the 'Resource' drop-down, select the date range, and hit the 'Refresh' button. All schedules for that resource within the date range (but only those ended before the current time) will be listed. The instruction types can be changed if necessary. Enter the time for each instruction type. Only 2 different types of instruction can be entered for a given schedule. Check with your club to see if they are using the 'Reference' field. This may pertain to a paper receipt. If not, leave this field blank. If a different pilot should be billed than the one scheduled, the other pilot can be selected from the drop-down. If you would like to enter comments, you can bring up a 'Usage Comments' field by clicking on the instructor ID for that schedule. If the lesson cancelled, check the 'No Flight' checkbox. Again, any comments can be entered in the 'Usage Comments' field, which can be displayed by clicking on the instructor ID.Multiple schedules can be entered at one time. Press the 'Save' button periodically to ensure your entries are not lost.If you should become disconnected before saving, reconnect without leaving your current screen. Your data should not be lost. After saving you can refresh to verify the data is all there.
