Yes. Text messaging works similar to email. To send a text message to your phone, you will need to do the following...
Enter your phone address into one of the email address fields in your user contact information. Your phone address will have the following format: 1234567890@provider.com. (The numbers represent your 10-digit phone number and provider.com depends on you cell phone company.) See examples below for various providers.
Check the checkbox for text message to get the short version of the message.
After saving your phone address, this notification method from whichever notification you want sent to this address.

T-Mobile: 1234567890@tmomail.net
Verizon: 1234567890@vtext.com
If your cell phone provider is not in this list, you can generally find this information on the website for your cell phone provider.
Please note that some phone companies charge fees for this service. Also, don’t forget to enable any new e-mail addresses. This is done by following steps:
Go to My Account |My Profile
Do the necessary changes in the 'Preferences' tab
