It is a long standing problem with Google calendar. Sometimes changes will sync immediately, but other times it can take 12 hours or never shows up. A sync with office365 calendar to Google Calendar has the same issue, so our feed is not unique in this issue.
A web search "why is google calendar not updating from url" finds similar misery..
It seems that the Google calendar has some cache that is difficult to figure out.
Outlook seems to work well as do mobile devices and desktop calendars. Some set up info for other calendars can be found here:
