Before you add users to your new organization, you should consider setting up a default user profile with the status, preference, authorizations and billing defaults that you want. This can be done later if you do not do it up front, but it will only default new users.
The menu to get to the default user is shown in the image below. There are 4 user profile tabs that you can use to set defaults. The authorization tab is selected below.
There is a new menu for setting up a default schedule reminder. It is labeled 'Default Sched Reminder' and can be seen just under the menu item for 'Default User Profile'.
Some other things that can be defaulted upon request (that do not have screens) are listed below. Email support@timesync.com to get help with adding defaults for any of these.
- View preferences (e.g. 2 day, agenda 1day, calendar, list wk). The default screen can be specified as well as the priority of views, with the next 2 views labeled on the buttons and any remaining views that are not hidden listed in the dropdown.
- recurring notifications for schedule events (e.g. new schedule, cancelled schedule) or maintenance events (e.g. new squawk, completed squawk, maintenance due)
Note: It is generally recommended to allow users to decide upon and set their own notifications. Otherwise, they may ignore them or mark them as spam, which will make it harder to deliver.
