Significant updates have been made to the postflight screen to improve performance, design, and intuitiveness.
The first input screen will look pretty similar. Some of the updates are as follows...
- New client side validators
- Configurable help link for the org defined fields. (The blue question mark link will appear to the right of any of the configurable fields that have help text in the table. Email email@example.com if you want help text added to your configurable fields.)
- The 'Calculate' button will check for errors, display warnings and display proposed transactions. If everything is valid, a 'Save Entry' button will be displayed.
- Ability to update a postflight.
FYI - The oil and fuel fields are configured by club. There are up to 4 club defined fields. If you want any of these fields added for your club, let us know.
The image below shows the warnings, proposed transactions and Save Entry button. If everything looks good, click the Save Entry button to record the inputs and invoice the transactions.
Saving the entry will take you to the screen below, where you can see the final rent transactions and may have the ability to add fuel receipts, payments or a squawk (depending on how your organization is configured). Also, if you realize you have made a mistake in your entries, the 'Edit Postflight' link will allow you to go back to the previous screen. FYI - Never use the back browser button to get there since this can cause errors.
If you add a receipt or make a payment, the application will return to this page with the additional transactions displayed.
There is a new ability to edit a postflight rather than just deleting the entry and re-entering. If you are able to edit a postflight, you will see a link on the flight management screens or on your postflight list. The link will go to the above screen with the previous inputs and transactions listed along with the link 'Edit Postflight'.
