The hazard symbol on the schedule page indicates the status based on Squawks and Scheduled Maintenance.
For primary resources, such as aircraft and boats, the symbol will be determined as follows:
- The squawk level is determined based on the squawk urgency.
- Mandatory Scheduled Maintenance tasks that expire before the selected date range would cause the level to be the highest level (usually red). Mandatory Scheduled Maintenance tasks that expire during the selected date range would cause the level to be the medium level (usually yellow).
- The highest of the 2 levels would determine the color displayed.
For instructors the symbol will consider mandatory expiration dates entered through Scheduled Maintenance as well as user expiration dates (only if user expiration dates are enforced for instructor scheduling).
When clicking the hazard symbol, a resource status screen will be shown. The image below shows the resource status for primary resources, such as an aircraft or boat.
This screen will display all open Squawks, open Scheduled Maintenance tasks (mandatory and non-mandatory) and any informational messages. Click the Squawk title to see the details. Any overdue mandatory Scheduled Maintenance items will have the due date or time shown in red. Some Scheduled Maintenance items may have a link to further information.
The resource status page for instructors shows expired user dates (only if this option is checked), expired Scheduled Maintenance tasks, and checkouts (for informational purposes). See image below for an example.
The resource list page will have the same hazard symbol with the same popup screen.
