Your organization may allow regular users to schedule a resource for maintenance. Some organizations only allow dispatchers or SYSOPs to schedule maintenance. If you are able to schedule maintenance, you will see a red maintenance button (+ Maint) that you can click or you can drag to the schedule.
If you are a regular user and have the maintenance button, the system will allow you to make an immediate maintenance schedule for cases where you find that the resource is unusable. These schedules must start immediately and last for no more than 48 hours in duration.
If you do not see the button described above, then you are not authorized to schedule maintenance.
Clicking or dragging the maintenance button to the schedule will cause the following maintenance scheduling window to open. There are options for creating a resource message or squawk (if configured to use squawks). The resulting schedule should be red (unless your club is configured to show maintenance schedules in the same color as other users).
