If you are authorized to edit scheduled maintenance, go to the Scheduled Maintenance page within the Resource menu. From there you can view the status of maintenance, add new or edit due dates/times, complete existing ones, or link a maintenance schedule to a maintenance task.
Viewing maintenance:
The maintenance tasks are grouped by status: a) Notified Items (which are due soon and have already had the notifications emailed), b)Future Maintenance Items (which have not yet had notifications sent), and (c) Completed Items. Another view of maintenance is the Maintenance Status Board, which is also found in the Maintenance menu under Resource Info.
Add a new scheduled maintenance task:
At the bottom of the FUTURE MAINTENANCE ITEMS grid there is a row of fields. Select the resource, type of maintenance, date due and/or meter due. Then click add.
Scheduling maintenance:
Currently to schedule maintenance for a particular task, you must schedule from the normal scheduling screen. Then you can come back to this screen to associate the maintenance schedule with the task (or multiple maintenance tasks). To associate the maintenance task with a schedule, click the check box in the 'Work Schedule For' column for each of the tasks you wish to schedule. Then, click the 'Schedule Selected Items' button. (This button will only be visible after checking at least one of the boxes.)
Completing a scheduled maintenance item:
When the maintenance work has been completed, click on the button, which says "Complete", beside the item you wish to complete. This will pop up a window where you will fill out details about the completion. If you include a next due date or next due meter time, the maintence item will be automatically added into the FUTURE MAINTENANCE ITEMS grid.
Editing a scheduled maintenance item:
If the scheduled maintenance task has been entered incorrectly, you can click the 'Edit' button to change it. This will allow you to edit the type of maintenance, the date due, or the meter due. When you are done making the changes click "Update." Do not use this option to advance the date or time when maintenance has been completed. The 'Complete' button should be used for that in order to maintain a history of completed maintenance
Deleting a scheduled maintenance item:
Click the link, which says "Delete", beside the item you wish to delete. This option should only be used for incorrectly entered maintenance tasks. Use the complete option for completed maintenance.
Note: Authorized users includes sysops and those with the 'Scheduled Maintenance Admin' authorization.
